주체대회
Miss Grand International (MGI) is a prestigious international beauty pageant founded in 2013 in Thailand. With the slogan "Stop the War and Violence," the competition promotes peace and humanitarian values.
Each year, 60–80 countries participate, showcasing a spectacular stage with dynamic performances. The competition includes National Costume, Swimsuit, Evening Gown, and Interview rounds, with the winner serving as a global peace ambassador.
MGI has rapidly grown into one of the Big 5 international beauty pageants and continues to gain immense popularity on social media.

Miss International은 1960년 미국 롱비치에서 시작되었으며, 1968년 이후 일본으로 개최지를 옮겨 현재까지 일본을 중심으로 개최되고 있습니다.
세계 미의 대회 중에서도 "문화 사절단"으로서의 역할을 강조하는 독특한 대회로 자리매김하고 있습니다.

Miss International은 참가자들이 단순히 외모만이 아니라, 교양, 지성, 자선 활동에 대한 의지를 갖춘 글로벌 여성 리더로 성장하는 것을 목표로 합니다.
문화 교류를 통한 세계 평화 증진을 가장 중요한 가치로 삼고 있습니다.

대회는 매년 10월~11월경 개최되며, 참가자들은 다음과 같은 심사를 받습니다.
국가 의상 (National Costume Competition) | 각국의 전통 의상을 선보이며 문화적 다양성을 홍보 |
스윔수트 심사 (Swimsuit Competition) | 건강미와 무대 표현력 평가 |
이브닝 가운 심사 (Evening Gown Competition) | 우아함, 품격, 스타일을 평가 |
인터뷰 및 스피치 (Speech Round) | 평화, 문화 교류, 사회적 이슈에 대한 인식과 의견 발표 |
대회 마지막에는 Top 15 → Top 8 → Top 5 → 최종 우승자를 선발하며, 우승자 1명과 4명의 러너업(Runners-up) 이 발표됩니다.
Miss International은 매년 약 70~80개국의 대표가 참가하는 대규모 대회입니다.
한국을 비롯한 세계 각국은 국가별 미인 대회나 별도 선발전을 통해 대표를 선출하여 참가합니다.
한국에서는 '미스코리아' 대회의 선(善) 수상자 또는 별도의 '미스 인터내셔널 코리아' 선발전을 통해 대표를 선출하고 있습니다.
